One of my favorite things to do is to scout now locations with friends. I had heard Deep Ellum was super fun and colorful, I had no idea what I was in for! We had a great time!
These first shots are of my oldest- as you can see she is quite the little model!
Then we move on to our little twins! These boys are hams, and our little toe-headed friend here is quite the little devil!
Awwwww, then they had some brotherly loving time! :D Then we move on to the loverly Gabriella and her spinny skirts and curly cues!
Then we went into “Star Spangled Banner” territory with a big flag mural… such fun!
And lastly the amazing Mackenzie and her bright blue eyes- Love that girl!
I love her and her accessories! She’s always right on the mark!
Awwww, as you can tell we had a great time hanging out in the heart of Dallas!
OH MY GOODNESS! It really pays off to spend some QT time with these little ones- we had a great time playing today with Maddie at the park! We went to Lake Arlington, in Arlington, Texas for a little picnic and friendly park romping.
See what I mean? SO many smiles! And she is getting SO very big… sniff sniff!
Of course, it’s pretty easy to get smiles from this cutie anyway- but when you have a *patented* Toddler Tamer in the mix. Perfect for impromptu “Ring Around The Rosy” and “This Little Piggy”- so fun to watch!
It was SO relaxing to just chill out on a quilt and enjoy some time laughing at a little one with my little ones! Thanks Amanda!
FINALLY it has cooled down! We celebrated by an outing with friends at the Dallas Arboretum! I love these cuties…

I am still recovering from a great time visiting family in Colorado! Of course I brought the cam along and caught us all in our various activities! I definitely missed those Colorado storms and, of course, the mountains.
I got to take the girls to my favorite place in Colorado- Castlewood Canyon! The girls didn’t believe me at all when I told them I used to climb the cliffs… but I digress. We had a blast with our cousins!
So I am gushing a little here- but my littlest and my sisters littlest have somehow managed to remain best buddies even though we live so far away! I loved watching them together!
This last one on the right is my favorite- leave it to my daughter to go hiking in a dress… great pic though.
I had the amazing opportunity to photograph a local volunteer event and had a GREAT time. The love that these volunteers had for the families they were serving was so very obvious- can’t wait to go back again!
This weekend I got to spend some quality photography fun with the Udes family. We had fun getting the whole family in on the action!
She is such a cutie! And she is DEFINITELY Daddy’s little girl! <3
I am really enjoying watching this little girl grow! What a beautiful family!

Last weekend I got to go on a mini-vacation and go visit one of my best friends and her boys! We spent some time at a graffiti wall in Norfolk and at a skate park the boys frequent. She’s quite the super mom!
Note to self: How to get a 10 and 12 year old to smile naturally requires bathroom sounds…
We also stopped by the greater park area for some more natural shots. I love these guys!

I am such a flower nut, I used to buy gardening magazines and draw the flowers, I have painted a few of these already. For the record- I tend to kill things that can’t tell me that they’re hungry or over-watered… which is probably why I stick with photography instead of botany.
